My pixels took a break until 6 January. Best wishes for the new year!
Bless this mess. The inspiration for these three words in ‘cross stitch’ (pixels are fun to play with!) comes from a publication I have recently made for the Scientific Council for Government Policy with the—revealing nothing—title The Netherlands in a Fragmenting World Order.

The lion-dragon Barong is the king of the spirits and leader of good forces in Indonesian mythology. Very cool—and rare!—T-shirt for my son Niels (a.k.a. ‘Buffeltje’).
Warming-up

Global warming? Not exactly one year ago when I joined the Down Under Obstacle Run [7.5 mi] in Nieuwegein (NL)! It was a double challenge: fighting numerous, slippery obstacles + poor weather conditions. With a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius it appeared to be the coldest 6th of October since 1936! A hot shower after some heavy exercise never felt so good before!

Building an archive is a lovely, long-winded, never-ending affair. Each project added is done so with reference to—and in memory of—previous projects. It’s a reflection of your taste and mindset, both of which can change. Consider a good archive as a map of your time spent and spaces travelled.
In 2014 I realized this charming book for Alzheimer Nederland.
